Jason M. Payne is a global security professional at Savannah River National Laboratory and an Army veteran with nearly 22 years of service, including two tours in Afghanistan, per his campaign site. He moved from New Orleans to North Augusta in 2018 and previously chaired the North Augusta Public Safety Foundation.
