Ikaika M. Olds is an Iraq War combat veteran who served eight years in the U.S. Army with two combat deployments, per his campaign site. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in psychology and spent nearly a decade as a social service provider working with homeless individuals in the district. He authored HB943 (Act 299), creating a statewide triage system that redirects homeless individuals with mental health or substance use issues into healthcare services.
