H. Brooke Paige

H. Brooke Paige is a perennial candidate from Washington, Vermont, who ran unopposed for four Republican statewide nominations on August 11 and won all four. He told Vermont Public before the primary that secretary of state is the one office he intends to keep, and that he plans to withdraw from treasurer, auditor and attorney general so the state party can substitute other candidates. The withdrawal deadline is August 21. Ballot status: he won four Republican statewide nominations on August 11 and withdrew from the treasurer, auditor and attorney general nominations, so he prints only for secretary of state, per Vermont Public (Aug. 18) and the Secretary of State's general election candidate list.
