Biography

Greg Burtt is a Republican candidate for Vermont House of Representatives in the Caledonia-Washington District, representing Cabot, Danville and Peacham, a seat he currently holds. He is a lifelong farmer who, with his family, runs Burtt's Apple Orchard and a maple sugaring operation in Cabot, per his campaign site. He is a UVM-trained engineer, a church elder, and a board member of the Vermont Center for Innovation in Agriculture. In his first term he sponsored legislation providing Act 250 relief for agritourism and helped pass a law protecting the confidentiality of peer-support sessions for emergency service providers.
