Biography
David Yates is an attorney who was sworn in as Jefferson County Clerk in October 2025, per the office's official website. He previously ran his own personal injury law practice, served on Louisville Metro Council from 2010 to 2020 including two terms as Council President, and later served as a Kentucky state senator.
