Biography

Chris Spencer is the Republican nominee for Texas House District 1. He has served for nearly 30 years as president and CEO of Crump Foods, a rural grocery and distribution company, per his campaign site. Governor Abbott appointed him chairman of the Sulphur River Basin Authority in 2018, per his campaign site, and he is a graduate of Hughes Springs High School and the University of Texas at Tyler.
