Hill is a certified public accountant who has served as Collin County Judge, previously working as an executive pastor and in corporate accounting and controller roles, per the campaign site. He holds degrees including a bachelor's in political science from Texas A&M University at Commerce and a master's in accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas, per the campaign site. He is a sixth-generation Texan and fifth-generation Collin County resident, married with three children, per the campaign site.
