Biography
Girvan has spent nearly two decades in public service in the San Fernando Valley, most recently as director of community affairs for a Los Angeles County supervisor, per the campaign site. She previously held positions in the California State Legislature and in the office of a former Los Angeles mayor, and she led government affairs and community engagement for the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, per the campaign site. She holds a bachelor's degree from UC San Diego and a master's degree from USC, per the campaign site.
