Biography
Haney holds a Ph.D. in economics and public finance from the University of Notre Dame and has more than 20 years of legislative staff experience in Illinois and Alaska, per the campaign site. She previously taught at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and served on the Fairbanks North Star Borough Assembly, where she worked to preserve the borough's tax cap and chaired the Regional Emergency Services Committee, per the campaign site.
