April Farris

April Farris is the Republican candidate for the Fifteenth Court of Appeals. She was appointed to the court by Governor Abbott effective September 1, 2024, after previously serving as a justice on the First Court of Appeals, and worked as an appellate litigation partner and assistant solicitor general for the State of Texas, per her campaign site. She is a Harvard Law School graduate and clerked for Fifth Circuit Judge Jennifer Walker Elrod.
