Biography

Anna Maria Hodges rose through the Milwaukee County Clerk of Circuit Court's office as chief deputy clerk and civil division administrator before her 2022 election as clerk, becoming the first Afro-Latina to hold the office in Wisconsin history, per an Urban Milwaukee press release.
