Biography
Amy Mah Sangiolo earned a law degree from Rutgers Law School and developed an interest in environmental law during an externship with the Sierra Club, according to her campaign site. She served on Newton's Board of Aldermen/City Council for twenty years beginning in 1997, then worked at the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office from 2020 to 2024 assisting families facing eviction and foreclosure. In 2022 she co-founded the local news outlet Fig City News.
