Allan W. Fung of Cranston is the Independent candidate for Rhode Island House District 15 on the November 3, 2026 ballot, per the Rhode Island Department of State's declared-candidates report and the Board of Elections' September 9, 2026 primary results. Fung, a former Cranston mayor who served from 2008 to 2020, left the Republican Party and became an unaffiliated voter in May 2026 before entering the District 15 race as an independent, according to The Boston Globe. The seat was previously held by his wife, Barbara Ann Fenton-Fung, GoLocalProv reported.
