Biography

Adam M. Beaty is the Republican candidate for Illinois House District 80 on the November 3, 2026 ballot, per the State Board of Elections' certified candidate list. Beaty is a Patrol Sergeant with the City of Braidwood Police Department and a 12-year law enforcement veteran, per his Shaw Local candidate questionnaire. He previously served as Braidwood City Clerk and as a Reed Township Trustee from 2021 to 2025. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Lewis University and is running against incumbent Rep. Anthony DeLuca.
