A community bank president who founded four small businesses, including an auction company, Aaron Bean was mayor of Fernandina Beach and then served in the Florida House and the Florida Senate, where he was Senate President Pro Tempore and chaired the Appropriations Subcommittee on Health and Human Services, per his official House biography. He was first elected to the U.S. House in 2022, sits on the Ways and Means Committee, and founded and co-chairs the Delivering Outstanding Government Efficiency Caucus, per that same biography. He is the youngest of nine children, the grandson of a coal miner and the son of teachers, per his campaign site.
